My Story

"Like the ancient storytelling traditions of Africa, it’s through story that we remember what matters, and find our place in it."

Over the years, I've found myself increasingly working at the intersection of communication, sustainability and strategy. And that's no accident.

I believe storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have for driving systems change. As a sustainability communications strategist, I’ve spent the past few years helping ESG and Impact advisory firms working across emerging markets communicate the why behind their work - why it matters, who it serves and how it can change lives.

I say can intentionally. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned in this space, it’s that words matter - and the most meaningful communications are grounded in honesty. We do a disservice to this work when we oversell or flatten the complexity of Impact. My approach is in service of building trust, not hype.

Too often, communications in this field are either outsourced to generalists without context or handled internally without the narrative lens. I’ve built a career bridging that gap - translating nuance into clarity, and strategy into connection. My postgraduate studies in Social Entrepreneurship further deepened that foundation, grounding me in equity, access, and systems thinking.

Sometimes stories aren’t just written or visual -they’re in how they’re delivered. Here I am doing the voiceover for a script I helped shape, bringing a Decent Work Handbook to life in a way that feels human and accessible.
